Dermal Fillers

Prior to your dermal filler treatment, you will be assessed by our nurse practitioner to determine if this treatment is the best option for your area of concern. After that you will be consented. The treatment area will be cleansed and disinfected. Topical numbing will be applied and will be left on the area for 30-40 minutes. Lidocaine may be injected into treatment area if pain is not tolerable with just topical numbing. The total appointment will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes. After treatment, the area will be swollen and bruised. The total healing time post treatment is 2 weeks, so plan accordingly or come in for a consultation prior to an important event! 

If injected properly and with the right treatment plan, the dermal fillers will enhance your natural beauty and not distort your beautiful, unique features. 

The dermal filler is also reversible with Hylenex, so if the end result is not what was desired it can be dissolved. 

Many people are candidates for dermal filler. However, a thorough medical history will be obtained and a facial assessment will need to be performed.
