Intramuscular (injectable vitamins) Vitamin Therapy
Please reach us at injector.rico@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
When you take oral vitamin supplements, the supplements have to go through your GI tract and then get absorbed into your bloodstream after it goes through this process. Unfortunately, the dose you are taking does not get fully absorbed into your body.
Having vitamins injected into your muscle or infusing them intravenously will allow you to get the recommended dosages of these vitamins as they do not have to go through your GI system. Therefore, it would be ok to continue with both but you could stop taking the oral vitamin supplements if you commit to the recommended frequency of administration.
It depends on the vitamin you are interested in receiving. Generally, the vitamins listed above will work effectivelly if administered on a weekly basis. The exception being Vitamin B12, for vitamin B12 you will get one injection weekly for one month and then it will transition to every other week/or once a month.
